The Restoration of a Parisian Hideaway: Chateau de Bagatelle

Unknown image

The charming Château de Bagatelle came to be as the result of a famous bet in 1777 between Marie-Antoinette and her brother-in-law, the Count of Artois. The château was the last royal residence built before the revolution, and prior to being purchased in 1905 by the City of Paris, passed through the hands of many famous owners and played host to royal engagements. In this special tour, the President of Château de Bagatelle, will take you backstage at the castle (currently closed to the public, and being restored by Fondation Mansart) to explore its interiors, exterior and surrounding gardens, and learn its rich history.

Complimentary Gift: A Parisian bath arrangement from the luxurious French beauty brand, Buly 1803.
